Benjamin Johansen is a visual artist who grew up in Maryborough, Queensland. After graduating as an architect and working in a boutique firm for three years, he decided to pursue his passion of becoming a full-time professional artist. Working primarily with acrylic paint, he has held multiple solo exhibitions, won a National Fine Art competition and commissioned numerous pieces for private art collectors.
Ben moved to London for two years exhibiting in local art fairs and city gallery exhibitions, his exploration in watercolour lead to his watercolour piece being shortlisted in the 2016 Royal Watercolour Society exhibit at Bankside Gallery.
Having recently moved back to Brisbane, he is excited to share his latest pieces inspired by his UK and Europe adventures.
